I am always happy to greet you!

I greet you with the wish to see you in the 3rd Caspian Conference of Implantologists.

Time goes ahead  and takes us closer  to the 3rd Caspian Conference of
Implantologists. Time goes on and everything changes. I invite all my
Colleagues to Baku to this Conference  to discuss and  share all these
changes. This Conference is dedicated to atrophy problems which is the
biggest and most serious problem of  Implantology. Apply of  alternative
methods and materials have always caused great interest.

In spite of a many ways for solving this problem were suggested,it`s still
remains urgent problem. Equally with different methods, apply of
subperiostal implants  puts  this problem on the agenda again  in new
format. Especially with the utilization of computer  technology  this
method becomes topical. We hope that the Conference will come to a
consensus about these matters.

There also will be held  different pre-conference courses . During the
conference the exhibition dedicated to the implantology and surgical
stomatology will be held and will be attractive for visitors. The guests
not only will have interesting journeys about the city and excursions,
they
also will have a chance to listen to Azeri music and taste Azeri cuisine.
There is a great interest and attention to this Conference from many
countries.

The main organizers  of the Conference are Society of  Implantologists of
Azerbaijan, ICOI (USA) and Implantatas LLC(Lithuania).

At the end I ask all my colleagues to be active in the work of the
Conference and wish success to everybody and our Conference,too.

Dear Colleagues!

Rapid development of implantology and its formation as a separate dental
speciality requires review of all obtained scientific and clinical
knowledge. Out of  different types and constructions of implants we should
choose those implants which have succesfully undergone clinical trials and are
really needed for dental rehabilitation of patients.

Reports of this Conference are mostly dedicated to applying subperiostal
implants, because it  is a great alternative to another surgical
technology.

Prof.Strel /Belgium/ emphasized that bone chooses implant! It`s important to choose a more secure plan of treatment to meet expectations of patients.

We are now in such a situation that doctors tend  to use screw type
implans, the surgery of which is easier.But are these implants
always meet demands?

We hope that in this conference the ways of solving atrophy problems will
be thorughly investigated and it will lay into bases of a common
consensus.
